I have never been one to worry about what I put on my body or the products that I used around my home, but I quickly learned that having a baby changes the way you think about many things. What would normally be okay for me to use was not good enough for my baby girl. I started researching and tried to purchase the safest products for her. On this journey I got rid of a lot of cleaners that I thought were safer and switched to The Honest Company cleaning products.
My research on buying safe products made me take a look at what I was putting directly on my skin. My first personal switch I made was to Native Deodorant. I was very skeptical before trying it, but I was quickly hooked (plus the coconut & vanilla smells amazing).
I have really been convicted these past few months to think about what I was using in my daily skincare/makeup routine. To be honest I have been more concerned with my new problematic skin that came along with my baby and have been trying to find things that won't irritate it. I looked up my favorite foundation on the Think Dirty App and was sad to find out that it scored a 10 and was full of hormone disrupters.
