Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

Happy Thanksgiving! It has been such a great day spending time with family and thinking of all the things I have to be thankful for. Thanksgiving was very special this year because my husband's family came over to my parent's house so we got to enjoy the day with both of our families.

I am always surprised at how fast Christmas rolls around each year. Thankfully I have the majority of my Christmas shopping already finished. Wahoo!

I know many of you brave souls are getting ready to go out and start crossing things off your Christmas list. Here are some great gifts that any woman in your life would love.

  • Birchbox Gift Subscription - I have lately become obsessed with Birchbox and I know any woman would love it too! You can purchase gift subscriptions and have them delivered to your recipient each month. Think of how fun it will be to keep getting Christmas gifts in the months to come!
  • Capri Blue Volcano Candle- This is my absolute favorite candle. I mean who doesn't want their house to smell like Anthropologie?
  • Kendra Scott Drusy Studs- These studs are perfect to spice up any outfit. They are very simple and look great with anything.
  • Rifle Paper Phone Case- Rifle Paper Co. has the cutest phone cases that any girl would love to dress up their phone.
  • Beauty Blender- This is my latest makeup obsession. While it may seem pricey for a sponge it is so worth it. It will be a favorite and become a part of the receivers everyday makeup routine.
  • Happy Everything Plate-I received a Happy Everything plate as a gift from my husband one year and love it. They have a variety of colors and you can even change out pieces on them to customize it for any holiday or event.
  • Fujifilm Instax Mini Polaroid camera-This retro camera will have anyone smiling. Grab it at Michaels and use one of their weekly coupons to snag it on sale.
  • Christina Gold Link Bracelet- This bracelet from Stella & Dot is vert trendy in gold and will go with just about anything.
  • Jesus Calling Daily Devotional- This is my favorite devotional. I keep them on hand to gift because I love it so much.
  • Puffer Vest- Quilted puffer vest are a must have for the winter. You can find this buffalo plaid vest at J.Crew and you can find a variety of them for much less at the J. Crew Factory Site that has everything half off right now.

Happy Thanksgiving and be safe shopping!

Quick Roadtrip to Austin

My friend Mallory attends UT and has been begging for my friend Macey and I to come down and visit her. After a little convincing we decided to make the drive and spend a few days at the capital of the great state of Texas.

A part of the convincing included a trip to a fun fabric store in Austin, Stitch Lab, and a pit stop at  Magnolia Market in Waco on the way home.

I got a little carried away at Stitch Lab. It is a quilt store that is in a little house. They have really unique, whimsical fabric. As soon as I walked in I spotted several things that I just had to have.

I have a small deer obsession lately and knew I could not leave without these pieces.

On the way home Macey and I stopped by Chip and Joanna Gaines shop, Magnolia Market, in Waco. This was my second visit to her store (I may have a slight obsession with Fixer Upper). You can read about my first trip here. I have had my eye on this cute Joy Christmas Sign and it worked out perfect that I could pick it up in person.

The shop is full of the best selection of faux greenery that I have seen. I grabbed a couple of small wreaths while I was there.

This trip to Magnolia was a lot of fun because we got there as soon as the store opened and it was not very crowded at all, unlike my first trip to the store. You can find some really cute pieces from home decor to jewelry online at Magnolia Market
